GENERALIZED PUSTULAR PSORIASIS (GPP)
SKIN FLARES CAN MAKE YOU FEEL TRAPPED UNTIL YOU HAVE THE ANSWERS
GPP is a chronic disease marked by reoccurring flares of widespread reddened or inflamed skin covered in painful, pus-filled blisters. Even between flares, you may experience persistent skin symptoms like scaling, itching, pain or redness.
The uncertainty of when a flare may occur – combined with the chronic symptoms of GPP – can have a big impact on your physical, emotional and mental health.
While you may not be able to predict when you’ll have a flare, or how severe it will be, recognizing and understanding flares is a big part of managing your disease. This site has tools and resources to help you navigate life with GPP.
“IT’S A LOT ON A DAILY BASIS TO HANDLE, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.”
– Carlie, a patient living with GPP
“WHEN I WAKE UP AND I THINK I’M HAVING A FLARE UP, MY STOMACH JUST DROPS RIGHT OUT. IT’S LIKE THIS FEELING OF IMPENDING DOOM.”
– Kate, a patient living with GPP
